SHAOLIN TEMPLE OFFERS 10 SCHOLARSHIPS TO YOUNG AFRICANS

“Alone, one goes faster; together, one goes further” (African proverb)

First black to become a member of Shaolin Temple.  Fourth non-Chinese to have been consecrated a monk of the 34thgeneration under the name SHI YAN MAI.  A few months ago Master Saatenang traversed Africa in search of 10 youth with a promising future.  They will be the happy recipients of 10 scholarships generously granted by the Spiritual Head of Shaolin Temple.  The program:  traditional medicine, Shaolin kung fu, and Chinese culture.
A unique and unprecedented initiative that puts Sino-African relations under the sign of Wisdom.  The gift of Education. In other words, the keys to life.
Wushu Ambassador in the world and especially in Africa, Master Saatenang could well achieve this incredible feat of building a two-way bridge, thus tightly and carefully sealing the bond between a continent and a country.  The bond between his continent and his country.
